Ready to become a Certified Beaver Coexistence Professional? Join the Beaver Institute’s BeaverCorps Professional Training Program “Business Track” for free. About the Program

Interested trainees will enroll in the Beaver Institute’s BeaverCorps Professional Training Program “Business Track” free of charge and graduate as a Certified Beaver Coexistence Professional. The BeaverCorps Professional Training Program is designed to be completed remotely without the need for expensive and time-consuming travel. The course is self-paced to fit your life and schedule.

Note that our tuition subsidy is provided for those who are starting a new business, or adding to their existing business, to perform contracted beaver coexistence work. We ask that prospective students be aware of the substantial start-up costs associated with owning and operating a business, including insurance, tools, and time.

After completing online learning modules, one-on-one field training mentorship, and two additional beaver coexistence project installations, program participants leave ready to take on independent clients and join our cohort of Certified Beaver Coexistence Professionals who implement expert-level beaver coexistence projects in California.

Our partners at the Beaver Institute offer the first and only professional, non-lethal beaver management course that teaches innovative beaver management techniques. Tried and tested since 1998, these coexistence strategies have successfully resolved over 2,000 beaver-human conflicts, alongside low-tech process-based restoration (LTPBR) installations, which restore streams and beaver wetlands.
